Virginia Discovery Museum - "before"
The Virginia Discovery Museum is an interactive, educational museum for young children. Located on Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall, the museum fosters intellectual curiosity and development for all children of our community.
This was a redesign project. The original site was in dire need of a makeover from both a design standpoint and a technical one. The goal was to create something that was contemporary and professional yet fun and a little whimsical as well.
They were in desperate need of a fully-functional event calendar. We helped them audit their current content and re-work the navigation. We put the site into a proper content management system so managing everything in-house got a LOT easier.
